Regularly we like to keep our Parents here until they are old enough for their first litter.
If you are applying for a young adult, or mature Guardian dog, she will come to you completely health tested, and may have just a couple more breeding's for us left to go.
A Majority of our available Guardian Dogs will be female and only Occasionally will a male parent be available for adoption.
Your Guardian Dog will have 12 Months between each Litter,
When it is time, your Guardian Dog will come to our farm for about 5 days to be mated and then be back home to you for 8 weeks until the Guardian Dog is 1 week away from their Due Date.
Your Guardian Dog will stay with us for 8 weeks until the puppies are ready to go to their new homes and the mother has no more parental duties to attend to.
You and your Family are welcome to come visit your Guardian Dog any time during this 8 Week Period.
During the time we work together, your Guardian Dog will have 4 Litters over 3 to 4 Years.
After the Parents last Litter, they will officially be fully yours.
Spring Pastures Puppies pays for all costs involved in the breeding and pregnancy periods, and also an annual vaccination and health check.
We also pay for all De-Sexing Costs at the end of the Contract.
As a Guardian you are responsible for the welfare and safe keeping of your Guardian Dog for the duration of the program.
This includes flea, tick and worming them, including Feeding them premium dog biscuits such as Black Hawk Brand, and caring for your Guardian Dog.
